It's just before two o'clock on the 73rd day of a non-leap year. In other words, it's 3/14 1:59.
How do
you
celebrate Pi day?

I've eaten of/shared a pizza, a pie, and a round flatbread.

J'ai lu "Histoire du Pi" dans l'avion!
Couldn't resist it, given as I found the French copy of the book in the business lounge in Atlanta this morning. A fine way, indeed, to celebrate Pi Day.
Cheers,

Shouldn't we celebrate at 1:59 *AM*? Since this is really 13:59? :-)

Yeah, well, math geeks need to sleep, too!
The alternative would be 15:92, wich is to say, 4:32 pm...

I won a debate with my new co-workers! They probably don't see it that way but I don't care so much. ; )

Well, I didn't until
purpletigron
's journal alerted me to the phenomenon; next time will, of course, be honoured with pie.

I celebrated it by being spectacularly late in arriving to NJ.
So much for shunning Pagan Standard time. Sigh.

Math humor.
There's a reason folks think math geeks don't have a sense of humor....
Anyway, the beginning of pi is 3.14, so some math geek thought that 3/14 should be called "Pi day."
Talk like a pirate day really does have a bigger fan base!
